Description
The senior fixed-term employment contract is an employment contract which is strictly reserved for the employment of persons over 57 years of age. These persons must have been registered as job seekers for more than 3 months or under a personalised reclassification agreement (CRP). Senior fixed-term contracts may not be concluded for a period exceeding 18 months. It can only be renewed once. The purpose of such a contract is to promote the employee’s return to employment and to enable him to acquire additional rights for his retirement. In addition, Act No. 2010-1330 of 9 November 2010 provides for the payment of assistance by Pôle emploi to the employer representing 14% of gross salary, for one year, regardless of salary level, within the limit of the social security ceiling.
