Referral to the Labour Court

Description

When a dispute arises between an employer and his employee, the competent court is the Conseil de prud’hommes. This may be, as the case may be, the industrial tribunal of the place where the establishment where the work is carried out is situated; or, where the work is carried out at home or outside any undertaking or establishment, the place where the employee’s domicile is situated. It is also possible to bring an action before the Labour Court in the place where the contract was concluded or in the place where the employer is established.
