Description
When a company is registered in the Trade and Companies Register, the partners must appoint a Chairman. This appointment may be mentioned in the statutes. If it is not, it may be the subject of a separate act. The partners must meet in general meeting to take the decision to appoint such person to the presidency of the company. They have to do it fairly quickly because it is a matter of appointing the person responsible for representing the company vis-à-vis third parties. It should be noted that the procedure to be followed is the same when it comes to the partners appointing a new president.
