Description
When you have been the subject of a criminal conviction or a conviction pronounced by the Commercial Court, the decisions thus rendered against you are kept on your criminal record. The same is true of certain decisions rendered in administrative matters. However, the following shall be immediately deleted: amnesties of convictions those benefiting from a judicial rehabilitation with removal from the criminal record commercial or disciplinary sanctions erased by rehabilitation Are withdrawn after 3 years: police contraventional penalties conviction with waiver of sentence; and educational sanctions or measures penal compositions. Are deleted after 5 years: judicial winding-up judgements personal bankruptcy or ban on management (unless their duration exceeds 5 years) Other convictions are withdrawn 40 years after the last registration or upon the death of the person concerned. It is however possible for you to ask the High Court to remove such references from your criminal record.
