Fixed-term contract with defined purpose

The defined-term fixed-term employment contract was set up by the Labor Market Modernization Act of 26 June 2008. It is an imprecise, definitive, non-renewable term contract reserved for engineers and managers within the meaning of Annex IV of the National Collective Agreement on Road Transport. The defined-purpose contract must be concluded for a minimum of 18 months and a maximum of 36 months. It ends with the realization of the defined object. The use of such a fixed-term contract necessarily requires an extended branch agreement or a company agreement.
