The District Court is also competent in matters of attachment of labour remuneration, problems relating to professional elections or the exercise of servitudes established for the benefit of individuals or owners&#8217; union associations. It also has administrative powers, in particular the registration of civil solidarity pact agreements (PACS) or the drawing up of certificates of French nationality. The assistance of a lawyer is not compulsory before the District Court. You can defend yourself.
