There is no minimum duration for fixed-term contracts from date to date. However, a maximum duration, including renewal, of 18 months is required. The maximum duration of a fixed-term contract from date to date may be extended to 24 months in cases limited by law: in the event of the permanent departure of an employee preceding the abolition of his position when the contract is performed abroad in case of exceptional export orders.
