No legal provision requires your employer to give you a raise based on the length of service you have acquired within their company.\u00a0On the other hand, if the collective agreement applicable to your company provides for a seniority bonus and you can prove this seniority, your employer is required to pay it to you.<\/span><\/p>\n

If my responsibilities have increased.<\/span><\/h2>\n

The salary increase will not be automatic.\u00a0It may result from a negotiation with the employer.\u00a0It can also be triggered by a move to a higher level or to a higher coefficient due to this increase in responsibilities.<\/span><\/p>\n
