Google Suggest and copyright infringement<\/span><\/h2>\n

The case known as Google Suggest illustrates the intersection of online services and copyright infringement.\u00a0The Syndicat national de l\u2019\u00e9dition phonographique, a professional advocacy organization, discovered that suggested keywords on Google could associate musical artists, album titles or songs with terms such as “torrent”, “Megaupload” or \u201cRapidshare\u201d.\u00a0These terms refer to protocols and websites for downloading files.<\/span><\/p>\n
